Xylazine Scheduling Alert

There have been some questions recently about Xylazine and potential changes to its scheduling.

In speaking with MCSR this morning we were told that, "If there is no schedule then it would be schedule VI in Massachusetts, which is anything not federally controlled."

Federally, a bipartisan bill has been introduced in Congress that would make illicit use of Xylazine a Schedule III controlled drug while protecting access for veterinarians.
