The Massachusetts Animal Coalition’s AniMatch Program - Canine Conversations: Decoding Canine Body Language and Behavior

To all Massachusetts MDAR-licensed animal shelter and rescue staff and volunteers, foster parents, animal control officers, dog trainers, groomers, veterinarians, and others who handle dogs as a vocation or on a volunteer basis.

We will start with a video featuring Certified Animal Behavior Consultant Kelley Bollen and follow up with an informative discussion led by a local certified dog trainer. The training will be a total of up to 3 hours. The discussion component will help participants to connect what they are learning about body language with real world issues they are confronted with, including identifying dogs that are dangerous versus dogs that don’t shelter well but can be worked with. If the event is full and you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email volunteercoordinator@macanimatch.org.

FEE: $10 per person, space is very limited so be sure to sign up early, please contact us if the training is full and you would like to be added to the waitlist

NOTES: Bring your own drink, munchies and lunch for yourself. (There will be no formal break for lunch.)
ACO's can receive 3 CEUs for this training
