1: Multimodal Management of Canine Osteoarthritis
This session discusses the diagnosis and non-surgical management of canine osteoarthritis. Multimodal management and other treatment options will be discussed. Surgical management is only briefly discussed. This session is for all small animal practitioners who see arthritic canine patients in their practice.
2: Small Animal Orthopedic Exam
This lecture covers the basics of a good orthopedic exam in small animals. It includes differential diagnoses for specific orthopedic exam findings that will help clue the practitioner into making an accurate diagnosis. Several videos are included to show practitioners how to perform certain exam techniques.
3: The Art and Science of Small Animal Gait Exam Diagnosis
This lecture describes techniques to perform an accurate and complete gait exam. It includes specific findings demonstrated with videos that will assist practitioners with identifying certain characteristic gait abnormalities seen with specific orthopedic disease. It also includes information about advanced diagnostics used to further detect lameness and assess progress.
4: Treatment of Muscle Injuries in Dogs
This lecture discusses common injuries of muscles and tendons in dogs. Diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare includes calcanean tendon rupture, biceps tenosynovitis, supraspinatus tendon injuries, infraspinatus contracture, iliopsoas muscle injuries, and more.
