Artificial intelligence is becoming pervasive in our everyday lives. In medicine, it has the potential to dramatically improve the quality of care, improve clinical workflows, and save time. However, the rapid expansion of AI technologies without understanding their limitations can pose many challenges, ranging from faulty diagnosis to unethical decision-making. This session will demystify AI in veterinary medicine, describe ways to adopt this technology safely, and describe some novel research in this area.
