CE Requirements for MA Licensure
Licensed Veterinarians are required to complete a minimum of 15 Continuing Education Credits
per calendar year to renew their license. CLICK HERE for more info.

Minimum of 9 CE credits must be INTERACTIVE. To be accepted, the following criteria must be met:

  • The instruction must occur in real time (live in person or via online live stream).
  • There is required interaction between the licensee and the instructor.

This can include in-person conferences, interactive conferences, webinars or online workshops as long as they meet requirements above.

Maximum of 6 can be NON-INTERACTIVE.

  • This can include home study and pre-recorded webinars.

Veterinarians licensed in other New England states:

Good news! The MVMA is also an approved provider of CE for the following New England States, including New York State!

Connecticut (refer to Board of Registration list HERE)
Maine (refer to Board of Registration list HERE)
New Hampshire (refer to Board of Registration list HERE)
New York State (accreditation valid through May 2028).
Rhode Island (refer to Board of Registration list HERE)
Vermont (refer to Board of Registration list HERE)
